A Letter from the Designer...

It was 2004 and I was just nineteen when I first picked up my pliers and beads.

I remember the moment like it was yesterday; I sat on the floor beside my bed trying to figure out how to connect beads together to make a pair of earrings. After a few trial and errors, I completed my creation with the final act of securing the earring hooks. The exciting and charming feeling of completing something I could wear and enjoy was… captivating.

That small beginning eventually unveiled my passion for creating jewellery, and that passion has rooted itself deep and wide in my life. It is a passion and gift that was planted in me and was found at the most perfect moment.

Inspiration...

Psalms 91:1 is one of my favourite Bible verses. If you read the whole chapter of Psalms 91, there is one collective thought and it is how God can deliver and rescue us if we put our trust in Him. This chapter's meaning struck me because I saw the verse 91:1 as "9-1-1" and how God can help us if we ask Him. Not only that, but this chapter has been proven very real in my life.

Each piece of jewellery I design has a story behind it. When you purchase a Psalms piece, you are not wearing a design that was made up without care, but each design is passionately created and in that way carries a piece of my heart.

The quote does not touch upon my jewellery only, but it goes for all of us beings; all of God’s creations have their own unique and special story…

Purpose Driven...

The time that I first picked up those pliers, I never would have imagined the great accomplishments that were in store for Psalms. And even greater, the butterflies in my stomach, the fascination, and excitement to create jewellery still remains in me. Through this I believe true passion never wears out, as long as you are using that passion for your true purpose.
